We are delighted to invite you to take part in a 'Come and Sing' workshop on Handel's Messiah led by esteemed conductor and composer, Peter Gritton.  Spend a fun afternoon learning and singing choruses from this famous Baroque masterpiece and then invite your friends to the concert  'Messiah in an hour' in the evening starting at 6.30pm.  

All are welcome to come and sing.

Timetable for the day 

• 1pm - Doors open and registration

• 1.30-3.15pm - Singing session 1 

• 3.15pm-4pm - Tea/coffee and cake (included in your ticket price)

• 4pm-5.45pm - Singing session 2

• 6 pm - Doors (and bar) open for concert audience

• 6.30-7.30 - Performance

Notes for singers:

• We will be using the Novello edition of Messiah (any Novello edition is fine).  Bring your own copy or hire from us for £2. 

• There is no special dress code for the day or the evening performance.

• No need for a concert folder.  Bring a pencil!

• Children may attend this workshop, but it is recommended that they are over 10 years old. Any under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
